Bill, Sr. and Lynn Mammel created Santa’s Woods and planted their first Christmas tree in 1981. Their first Christmas tree was sold in 1987. During the past decades, the farm has seen many changes. Since Bill, Sr. and Lynn’s passings, Bill, Jr. and Shari (Bill and Lynn’s kids) have started to oversee the operation. We have over 40 acres of Christmas trees including Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, White Pine, Douglas Fir, Concolor Fir, Balsam Fir and Scotch Pine. Start your family’s adventure with a complimentary hay rack ride to one of our tree fields. Once you choose your new Christmas tree, a skilled cutter carefully cuts the tree from the field. From there, the Christmas tree receives a complimentary shake and bail. While the Christmas tree receives its final farm primping, you can sit with Santa for a family picture and visit our century-old selling barn for a complimentary cup of hot chocolate and hot spiced apple cider. Inside our selling barn, we also offer a variety of wreaths, swags and other greenery items. Some of which are pre-decorated, undecorated or can also be custom decorated while you are there. Upstairs in our selling barn, we have a gift shop to offer unique décor items to give your holidays a final touch. We have vendors who offer different holiday items as well as delicious concessions on the second floor of our selling barn. Kids can visit our Winter Wonderland where they can get their face painted, play in the corn bins, play games and make a take home craft. Head over to the Smore Station to find a variety of tasty smores. Warm up by the fire and share family memories while you roast your marshmallows. While outside, don’t forget to stop by and visit our reindeer who live here at Santa’s Woods all year long. When you’re ready to take your new Christmas tree home, we will safely and securely tie your it to your vehicle for its new journey.
Santa’s Woods offers reindeer rentals for your business or special event. Please contact our farm for availability and pricing information.
Santa’s Woods is the home of the annual Mrs. Claus’ Craft Fair on the second Sunday of September. Besides the many vendors, there’s concessions, petting zoo and kids zone. It’s a day full of fun for the entire family.
Santa’s Woods also offers hay rack rides and campfires during the month of October. It’s a perfect time of year for gathering with school clubs, scouting groups, church outings and parties for your own private campfire and hay rack ride. Each campfire location has close parking, tables, serving table, electricity and water. Please contact us to reserve your campfire.
